Tun Razak: His Life and Times

Tun Abdul Razak (1922–1976) was Malaysia's second Prime Minister. His career ran from the struggles of the early UMNO years to the formation of Malaysia and the Confrontation with Indonesia. It continued through the reconstruction that followed the 13 May Incident, and he died suddenly in office

William Shaw's Tun Razak: His Life and Times appeared in 1976, right after his death. One later review calls it the first book to assess him critically. It was translated into Malay the following year and is still regarded by many as an indispensable reference.
