Reflections Of Pre-Independence Malaya

The author, Mohamed Abid, was raised being a close member of the family, amongst the large extended family of Dato' Onn Ja'far, the man who founded the United Malays National Organisation, the ruling party of Malaysia. As he playfully ran and frolicked through the corridors of power in the late 1940's and early 1950's, a time when UMNO was being formed, the memories from his youth have revealed a facet of history which may only be depicted by someone witnessing events as they unfold.
